The church rarely talks about what Jesus actually came to bring us. The Kingdom is what our hearts desire. Yet religion isn’t delivering us to the Kingdom. Jesus in Matthew 6:33, instructs us to "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you". Seek first the Kingdom, not religion. Read your Bible and let it speak to you. Read about the Kingdom! Jesus didn’t come that we may have religion. Religion has failed to deliver the Kingdom as a result many stay broke, sick, and in bondage, or lost.
We must see Jesus through the lens of a political figure representing the Kingdom of Heaven. It is hard to understand because we see kingdoms on Earth like the United Kingdom, which has geography, you can fly there and touch it. It is tangible. We have been taught as humans to accept the tangible, what our senses can perceive mainly is our reality. This shapes our beliefs. But to understand God's Kingdom, we must see it more as a law that governs over all of the universe. Like the law of gravity, it is powerful and holds the universe together. God's Kingdom we can not see, and we can not touch in this life. If we use our general senses to shape our reality.
God's Kingdom exists in a realm we can not see. Jesus instructed us to pursue the Kingdom above all else because He knew it truly was the key to unlocking our best lives here on earth. As He gave us dominion over the earth. He put it in our hands. To choose the destiny of the Kingdom. Ephesians 1:19-21 proclaims that we have the same power that rose Jesus from the grave. We have more power than we know. We have to operate under Kingdom authority to activate that power. Deuteronomy 28:3-14, you will be blessed in the city blessed in the country. It is an anointing that follows you everywhere you go. This is bigger than religion. This is about a (universally) sovereign King who has bestowed His Kingdom upon us.
In Matthew 13 God instructs us to turn to Him but most of all with an open heart. Romans 12:2, Do not be transformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Jesus spoke of our minds as being two parts: the soul and the spirit. To see the Kingdom, we have to receive it deep in our spirit. This takes a different type of sight. This takes faith and belief when you can not see. If you can not do this, I can not help you find God. But you can do this, we all can. It takes determination and a will to find what is beyond us.
Just read about the Kingdom with an open heart. Don't let your mind talk you out of it. Once you walk in faint long enough, your earthly reasoning can't stand. Once God convinces you He indeed exists, no one can convince you otherwise.
